Ooh, awesome! I've been trying to get my hands on a copy of this, partly because it sounds awesome and partly because of my ongoing campaign to find vampire books that are actually good (i.e. no sparkling undead).

Gail will often put up menu's from Victorian times of the things people in gentle society ate and drank. I find it fascinating the number of courses they went through in an evening, though I shy away from Fois de Gras and Spatchcock.

+1: Something interesting - linked to a Banned Books blog from Gail's site. Interesting that censorship is alive & well!
I grew up with the author, and remember playing dressup and pretend together.... and can't wait to read her stories, if they are anything like our dressup stories then they will be great!
