#TheDUFF Red Carpet Recap w/Kody Keplinger & Giveaway

I'm so, so excited that #TheDUFF movie is finally out in the world and that you can go see it now! I was saw it last month and loved it (you can read about my prescreening experience here), so it's great to finally be able to talk about it with people!

Was there anything in particular that you found yourself stressing about leading up to the red carpet experiences?

Oh my Gosh - so everything for the LA red carpet went pretty smoothly, but New York had me in knots.  First my family's flight from Kentucky was cancelled.  Then my Mom got food poisoning after she arrived from upstate.  Then I fell in the hotel and blacked my own eye (I'm so smooth, obviously.)  I was so worried about EVERYTHING. But by Wednesdaynight, I'd sort of reached a place of zen.  Mom was better, my eye easily covered with makeup, and things started to fall into place.  It was a wild ride getting to that red carpet, though!

If you had to name one moment from the premieres as the highlight, what would you choose?

During the New York premiere, I was unexpectedly pulled up to the front of the theater by producer McG.  Mae Whitman and Robbie Amell were already up there, and they both said some unbelievably kind things about me, and I got to tell them how thrilled I was to have them be a part of this movie.  It was such an honor to stand up with them like that.  I'm so glad I was able to do it.
