Contest: The Truth About Forever

Right now we've been having horrible weather where I live - so in hopes of rekindling a "summery attitude," I'm giving away a copy of my favorite summer read: The Truth About Forever by Sarah Dessen!

Short description:
Macy is looking forward to a boring summer: She has a dull job at the library, will log many hours studying for the SATs, and will grieve silently over her father's death. Everything changes when she meets the chaotic Wish Catering crew and starts really living life.

This isn't a new book by any means, but I never get tired of it - I read it every year. And now you should too!

So, for a chance to win you must tell me two (yes, two things)!
What is your favorite summer read (so I can add it to my list!).
and
Macy and Wes, the two main characters, play an intense game of Truth. There isn't a dare option involved, but it there was, what would you pick: Truth or Dare?

YOU MUST ANSWER THESE TWO QUESTIONS TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE CONTEST!

For extra entries:
+1 for becoming a follower (or if you already are - please mention so I don't forget)
+1 for posting the contest somewhere (up to two places (which would be two points))
+1 for commenting on some other review on my blog

This contest is only open to U.S. residents because I am poor and can't afford shipping to foreign countries (even though I wish I could!).

Contest ends July 15th!
Good luck!
Sara

**THIS CONTEST IS NOW CLOSED!**

  1. My favorite summer read...that's a hard one, but if I have to choose...Just Listen or The Truth About Forever both by Sarah Dessen. I adore her books, but those two and This Lullaby are my favorites and I have to read her every summer.

If I had to chose Truth or Dare, it would totally be Dare. I love a good challenge!

  2. oooh! I hope that I win. I am doing a Sarah Dessen challenge and I have 2 of her books (and am to receive one in bookmooch soon). I'm slowly getting all of them, she has nine books to read and I can't wait to read them. They all sound good.

    Favorite Summer read:
Harry Potter. I read the entire series every summer because it is AWESOME. Read it if you haven't!

Newer books that are good summer reads:
Suite Scarlett by Maureen Johnson is a really good book to read in the summer! And, it takes place in the summer.
Oh, and 13 Little Blue Envelopes is another fantastic book my Maureen Johnson that would be great to read in the summer (I read it for the 1st time in December, lol).
Prophecy of the Sister by Michelle Zink is awesome. (it comes out Aug 1st)

I only play Truth or Truth. So, I guess that I'd pick Truth! I always annoy people because they want to dare me to do something but I am very clear that I only play truth or truth.

  3. My favorite summers read(s) so far would have to be the first book in the Pretty Little Liars series. The other books are coming and I can not wait. And I just started the Sookie Stackhouse series and am really liking those. So these would have to be my favorite summer reads so far..

  13. My favorite summer reading... hmmm, well anything light and breezy as opposed to something analytical and deep. Yes, I do normally like deep stuff but even a genius like me occasionally needs to rest the brain. I don't have a specific favorite book for summer reading because there is always something new coming out and I like new stuff.

Okay truth or dare... always the truth with me... and oh yeah, I don't sugar-coat it either. I won't take a dare because I think they're stupid - or can be.

  20. I don't really have a favorite summer read, but reading the HP series is always fun, and I recently really enjoyed Girl Stays in the Picture. It's nice and light-hearted.

Out of truth or dare I would definitely say dare.

  21. My favorite summer reads are Oh. My. Gods. by Tera Lynn Childs and its sequel, Goddess Boot Camp.

I would choose dare, as long as there was a rule against dares that involve removing clothes or eating the inedible.
