Obviously, I'm looking forward to book 2, Mortal Gods, which releases September 1st! When I found out that the publisher decided to change the cover art for the paperback version of Antigoddess, I was disappointed, but then it grew on me. There's a fierceness to this new cover - and the cover of the second book - that was missing from the original. I'm glad I have my hardcover copy with the original art to pet, but I'm happy with this new direction as well!
Okay, I've rambled enough! Check out the cover of Mortal Gods below... and don't forget to chime in down in the comments section with your thoughts!!
Add it on Goodreads!
Thoughts on the new paperback version of Antigoddess versus the original hardcover design?
I haven't heard of this series. I like the Antigoddess cover with the feather a lot!

Okay, I had decided to skip this series, but now I'm intrigued! It sounds very vivid and tense!
ReplyDeleteMonument 14 is soooo good, and I think it gets overlooked because the main character is a guy. Or maybe there are other reasons, I don't know. I just know it doesn't get nearly enough attention. I'm hoping that with the new book coming out in May, I'll start seeing it around more.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to read Isla and the happily ever after!

ReplyDeleteI've been trying to figure out why it's so overlooked as well, Jenna! I think the cover is really interesting and the premise engaging, which makes me think you might be right about the problem being that it's narrated by a guy. And, like I said in my review, I was nervous about that too, but the MC is so accessible that being a girl or boy didn't matter at all!
