  1. Wow, I love this idea! I really want to read Illusive and A Mad, Wicked Folly, they both look great :)

I've read The Girl from The Well and it was creepy, but i enjoyed it!

  2. I almost included SEBASTIAN AND THE BALLOON on my list too. What a charmer!

  3. Ooo, The Girl from the Well has a stunning cover. I've been wanting to read The Midnight Thief. It sounds like the sort of book I'd love.

  4. These covers are amazing, particularly MINDERS and ALTHEA & OLIVER, neither of which I've read -- though I really want to! Also, I'm seeing A MAD, WICKED FOLLY all over the place today! Must pick it up soon. :-)

  5. I still need to read Conversion! I loved A Mad Wicked Folly as well. Have fun with the blog fest! If I had more time I would participate but I am already working on a similar end of the year post anyway. :)

  9. It was super fun to do, but I definitely had to set aside some time to go through everything I'd read to fill in the categories!

And Conversion is really different - I hope you like it!

  10. All three are so good - well, obviously or I wouldn't have included them! :D I really loved MINDERS and ALTHEA & OLIVER because they are both so different; I can't really compare them to any other books I've read this year. And A MAD, WICKED FOLLY is one of the most compelling historical novels I've ever read!

  11. I don't read many creepy books, but I seriously couldn't put down THE GIRL FROM THE WELL! And MIDNIGHT THIEF had everything I love about fantasy in it, so I thought it was perfect!

  12. I hope you find time to read both ILLUSIVE and A MAD, WICKED FOLLY! They're really different from one another, but both really great books. Great characters in both!

And yes, THE GIRL FROM THE WELL was creepy, but I was riveted. Loved it!
